Today you have signed an agreement to become Guardian for the above dog.
The Guardian accepts the dog for homing subject to the following terms and conditions

• The dog shall be kept by the Guardian as a pet and shall not be used for vivisection, experimentation or breeding purposes.

• The Guardian will undertake to have the dog neutered if the operation has not already been carried out at the time of adoption.

• The Guardian will feed and house the dog to 'Wiccaweys' satisfaction, and the dog shall not be kept chained up, or kennelled – they are to live as part of the family in the home.
Do NOT feed your Wiccaweys Collie ‘Bakers Complete’ dog food.

• The Guardian will maintain a suitable exercise and training program for the dog and provide adequate toys for mental stimulation. The Guardian will not use, under any circumstances, check or choke chains, or a ‘shock’ collar on the dog.

• The Guardian agrees that should behavioural problems arise with the dog, ‘Wiccaweys’ shall be informed and consulted for advice on how to proceed. The Guardian understands that 'Wiccaweys' can not be held responsible for this dogs behaviour once it has left the care of 'Wiccaweys'

• The Guardian will register the dog with a qualified Veterinary Surgeon within one month of the contract, and maintain a suitable vaccination and worming programme in accordance with veterinary advice.

• The Guardian accepts that due to the unknown history of rescue dogs and puppies, there can be no guarantee against hereditary defects such as hip displasia, PRA or CEA. As far as can be ascertained this dog is of good health. However, there can be no guarantee the dog is not incubating any infection or has any other medical condition. The Guardian understands that 'Wiccaweys' will not be held liable for any future treatment

• The Guardian agrees to notify 'Wiccaweys' within 24 hours should the dog become lost.

• The Guardian agrees to permit an authorised 'Wiccaweys' person to visit your premises, contact you via phone or email from time to time to ensure the dog is happily settled.

• The Guardian hereby irrevocably understands and authorises that the dog will and can be removed from their care by an authorised agent acting on behalf of Wiccaweys if it is believed the terms of the contract are not being reasonably followed.

• The Guardian should remember that for the purposes of the Dogs Act 1871 and the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, the Guardian is the person in charge of a dog and is responsible for keeping it under proper control at all time. Failure to do so may result in prosecution. The Guardian accepts full responsibility for the dog for the lifetime of the dog.

• The Guardian understands that donations are NOT payment for the dog. The suggested minimum donation amount is £150, but any extra you can give helps us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome even more dogs like your new friend. Any money received is used for the continuing work of the rescue and therefore non-refundable.

THE GUARDIAN IRREVOCABLY AGREES NOT PART WITH POSSESSION OF THE DOG
