Sadly Border Collies are often found in rescue, when they need not be. In extreme circumstances, some rescues will have a Border Collie put to sleep for being "aggressive", when in reality he or she is not. Most problems that Collies have can be rectified with time, patience and a little love.

Collies have been bred over the centuries to be a highly versatile and intelligent working dog. It is this intelligence that leads people to think that the Border Collie will be an obedient, trouble-free dog.

   

We often hear of people who think their collie is stupid because they do not behave the way they expected. Border Collies are highly intelligent, and a lack of the proper stimuation and exercise can often be found at the root of the problem.

We won't just help your dog - we will help you too. We'll help you understand and think like your collie, so that you can communicate more effectively with them.
We will help you pinpoint the problem that you're having, and offer you practical advice. We won't just tell you the solution to your problem, but we will also explain WHY the advice works, and what your Border Collie expects from you. 

If we aren't able to visit your area, then we may be able to give you some basic advice over the phone. We would love to help people all over the world overcome problems with their Border Collies so that they can stay in their homes for life.
