Directions to the Show Ground

 

Mad Mile Field, Sywell Road, Wellingborough, Northants


If coming from the North, or down the M6, from Junction 19 of the M1 / Junction 1 of the M6, Junction 1 of the A14 (Catthorpe Interchange) you can either continue down the M1 or come across the A14. There isn't much in it.

From M1
Leave motorway at J15
Take A45 signposted to Wellingborough (dual carriageway)
As you approach Wellingborough you will come to a roundabout with a MacDonalds on a hill opposite you.
Take the A509 (1st left, signposted Wilby, Kettering)
Stay on the A509 skirting round Wellingborough
You will cross 2 roundabouts
* 1st Sainsburys (2nd exit)
* 2nd Health Club (2nd exit)
At the 3rd roundabout, Park Farm Industrial Estate, turn left into Sywell Road
Carry on up Sywell Road
Cross roundabout.
The entrance to the Show Ground is about 500 yards up on your left hand side.
Show visitors follow the signs straight ahead for parking.
Show stall holders, veer right as you come in the entrance to park up.
If you get as far as the T-junction at the end of Sywell Road, you have missed the entrance.

From A14
Leave A14 at J9
Take A509 signposted to Wellingborough
GO through the villages of Isham and Great Harrowden
You come down a hill approaching Wellingborough and will reach a large roundabout.
Stay on the A509 (you turn right, 4th exit - NIORT WAY)
At the next roundabout, Park Farm Industrial Estate, turn right into Sywell Road (3rd exit)
Carry on up Sywell Road
Cross roundabout.
The entrance to the Show Ground is about 500 yards up on your left hand side.
Show visitors follow the signs straight ahead for parking.
Show stall holders, veer right as you come in the entrance to park up.
If you get as far as the T-junction at the end of Sywell Road, you have missed the entrance.

From A6
Take A45 signposted to Wellingborough & Northampton
Pass 1st Wellingborough exit (Tesco on right)
Carry on up the A45, move into the right hand lane to avoid slip lane.
You will come to a roundabout with a MacDonalds on a hill to your right.
Take the A509 (2nd exit, signposted Wilby, Kettering)
Stay on the A509 skirting round Wellingborough
You will cross 2 roundabouts
