Kiki
Samoyed

The beautiful Kiki has come to us from our friends at Hyndburn Dogs In Need.
She was a sign over from her home.

Kiki is a lovely Sammie girl, look at that smiley face. She is great with other dogs, travels well and is a truely nice girl. When she arrived, although she'd been groomed they'd only touched her top coat. She was very grumpy at first and closer inspection revealed her dense undercoat was very matted and pulling her skin. We are afraid she had to have a bit of a clip off, which resulted in her looking like a cupcake! However it freed up her legs and made her a lot more comfortable. When the warmer weather comes, we think it would be best to clip her off completely and let her coat come back at the same rate.

Anyone taking Kiki on will preferably have done their homework on Samoyeds and general Spitz breeds. Apart from their coats which aren't that complicated if regularly brushed and cared for, Sammies have their own little ways that are very comical to those that love them, but could be frustrating to folks that don't really understand the Spitz breeds. They can be incredibly independant minded and they are often talkative. They like to let you know whats occuring!

Kiki is a lovely Diva of a dog who would like to be someones princess!

Ronnie & Alice
Scruffies!

The very lovely and cheeky Ronnie and Alice have come to Wiccs from our friends at Hyndburn Dogs In Need. They were picked up as strays after being abandoned down a very secluded country track, tied to a tree.

Alice was devoted to her Ronnie and hated to be parted from him when they first arrived, but they are both happy to be separate from each other now. We think they are Lhasa Apso crosses, possibly with a poodle, or even a Tibetain Terrier cross with a poodle. They are both sweet and loving, very good with other dogs, and now ignore cats they know. They travel well. They are so affectionate and friendly. Really lovely, happy little dogs. Ronnie is a really cheeky scamp and so is Alice.

Benji
Saint Bernard

Benji came to us from a Welsh pound. He is an ex puppy farm dog who was kicked out when he had outlived their usefulness.

Despite being a puppy farm dog, Benji is extremely friendly and happy. He is excellent in the house and travels amazingly well. He is good with other dogs.

Benji is currently on foster with a previously Wiccs adopted St Bernard and family.

Mia
Border Terrier

Mia has come to Wiccs from our friends at Hyndburn Dogs In Need. She was picked up as a stray and not claimed.

When Mia arrived with us we discovered immediately she had a massive mammory tumour, so she was whisked in for an operation to remove it. She has recovered very well. The signs are that she has been used as a breeding machine, bless her.

Mia is a really happy and cheeky lady. She is excellent in the house, very good with other dogs and loves puppies! She mothers them, bless her. She loves people, travels well and is pretty amazing really.

The mammory tumour before it was removed. Bless her.

Mischa
Japanese Akita

Misha has come to Wiccs due to a change in her families circumstances and emigration. Her original rehoming rescue refused to take her back, saying if they did, due to her age and breed she would be PTS. As her friend Jake was a Wiccaweys dog and returning to us, Jake bought his old friend Mischa with him to save her life.

Mischa is a lovely girl, with a very laid back outlook on life. She is about 10 years old. All she wants is a bed to chill out on, or a sofa if available! Mischa is great with other dogs and is very happy to live in a multi dog household. She has lived with children and has great manners. She travels well and is a real gentleman. Misha loves her walks and is very good on lead. She is an absolutely dream to live with and very good in the house.
